In the midst of so much architectural beauty the day to day tasks of life must still be done. Love it
Not sure why this picture is missing an explanation?! Yes, the washing area was just to the right – a big undercover stone water hole kind of thing where they all must have come to do their washing. This was all ‘display’ clothing – very beautiful cottons and linens. I wonder if the people were happier living in these times?
