Amazing sunset last night!
Hello lovely readers! It’s been a while since a garden update and although I don’t really have much to show for it, here goes!
- We’ve had some beautiful sunsets lately
- Easter Saturday, with the beds all nice and prepared, I planted some flowering plants
- Started with some flowers in bed 1
- And in bed 2
- Another warm sunset
- Easter Monday I planted lettuce, strawberries and buxus
- The hydrangea was at the back to start
- Lettuce, strawberry, zucchini, cucumber and buxus in
- Wohlen church on a very grey day
- Loved the water drop on her nose. She is at the entrance to the Wohlen cemetary, which is part of the church
- Drinks with Pastora in the sun!
- First weekend of April I planted a lemon tree, a grapefruit tree and tomatoes (possibly too early) and moved the hyrdrangea from the corner. Oops. Might be a mistake. The part between the hydrangea and front is waiting for carrots and parsnips (not planted yet)
- Garden bed 2 with zucchini and cucumber plants towards the back, before the strawberries and buxus (which also has wildflower seeds, gladioli and fresia seeds scattered everywhere between)
- Sunday we went for lunch to the French part of Switzerland with Lene and Liliane
- And Liliane’s mum Hertha, who is 92 and awesome
- Leo and his favourite desert, Coupe Danemark (basically vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce poured over)
- Outside the restaurant
- I see this garden bed every day when I walk from the bus to work (building on left in background)
- A field of two different blue plants scattered with white tulips
- Not much change here other than more red flowers in the foreground
- April 7. Yay lettuce! Cucumbers still alive
- Wild part of the garden at our block of apartments
- Great pop of colour in our garden
- Tulips are coming!
Ok, I’ll leave it at that. Short and sweet, hopefully like my eventual carrots!
We have friends, Dani and Claudia, coming over tonight. Our first overnight guests in the new house. Then my Aussie friend Marney, who lives in Sweden, is coming 22-24 April and then my sister visits 30 May to 5 June. Woo hoo! Bring on the guests!
Wishing you a wonderful day.
